本日は洗礼について学ぶことができました。
洗礼は、ゴールではなく、スタートラインに立つことであるということを、改めて学ぶことができました。
洗礼は、完全なる人間になることとは異なります。
そもそも、完全なる人間は存在しません。
アーメン。
Therefore we do not lose heart.
Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.
For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

ですから、私たちは勇気を失いません。
たとい私たちの外なる人は衰えても、内なる人は日々新たにされています。
今の時の軽い患難は、私たちのうちに働いて、測り知れない、重い永遠の栄光をもたらすからです。
私たちは、見えるものにではなく、見えないものにこそ目を留めます。
見えるものは一時的であり、見えないものはいつまでも続くからです。
